Product Update: The Ultimate Spec Search Feature has Arrived

Thanks to valuable feedback from users like you, we continuously add, update, and improve features to make real differences in your user experience of Pype products.

Below are some notable updates that were made available to AutoSpecs users on April 27th.

Smart Search
AutoSpecs’ spec-scanning algorithm has always been far more than a simple word search, and we thought it was time our in-platform search feature followed suit. With our advanced Smart Search feature, the user’s search query will be processed by the platform which will return results that are relevant to the query even if they do not have any of the exact search terms. The days of trying every synonym and spelling you can think of just to find that one spec are over.

Enterprise Dashboard
Data analytics is critical to achieving and maintaining successful project delivery across your entire portfolio. That’s why this new update offers our enterprise partners a new way to view their projects within AutoSpecs. The Enterprise Dashboard offers a high-level overview of key performance metrics such as total number of log exports, total number of high-risk items flagged, super-users and platform experts on each project, and many other indicators of portfolio health. Not only that, but enterprise partners will also be able to view user-centric reports to check on adoption, usage, and success with AutoSpecs, making sure that you’re able to provide support for teams when they need it and helping to protect your software investment.

Pype AI

Initially released in Pype SmartPlans, our proprietary Al engine has been trained on thousands of projects and makes recommendations on important items that may be missing from your specs. Now, users will easily be able to identify potential gaps early on and can avoid change orders, RFIs, and unnecessary cost overruns.

Pype

Pype is the construction industry's first SaaS provider for submittal log management and project closeout. Over 40% of the ENR top 400 use AutoSpecs, Closeout, and SmartPlans to provide unprecedented insights on spec and closeout data, help teams extract actionable information from specifications and plans to close communication gaps between design, construction, and operations teams, and ensure a higher level of quality assurance, efficiency, and risk management on projects coast-to-coast.
